      What types of background checks are typically performed on a Someone.health psychologist?

      As a healthcare organisation, we have a responsibility to provide safe and high quality psychology services. Thorough background checks ensure that we meet this standard.

      Background checks conducted for each psychologist are:
      • Verification of education and valid AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) registration;
      • Working with children certification;
      • Relevant NDIS and WorkCover registrations;
      • ID verification; and
      • Criminal record check.
